The Local Government Unit of Malay is proud to join the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), the marketing arm of the Department of Tourism, for the 14th Regional Travel Fair, taking place from October 19 to 20, 2024 alongside with other Boracay Stakeholders. The event aims to enhance B2B and B2C marketing for regional tourism, represented by Dr. Felix G. Delos Santos Jr., Chief Tourism Operations Officer of Malay.
In his presentation, Dr. Delos Santos emphasized the local governmentβs commitment to safety, security, and sustainability, ensuring that Boracay remains an appealing destination for visitors. He showcased Boracay as a prime MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination and a Muslim-friendly island in the Philippines.
The Malay Tourism Office expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Tourism Region VI, led by Regional Director Crisanta Marlene P. Rodriguez, and to our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Frolibar SacapaΓ±o Bautista, for their unwavering support in this field of promotion.
Special thanks also go to Boracay stakeholders, including Henann Group of Resorts, Shingley Tours, Triple R Travel and Tours, Southwest Tours, and Mega Paraw Boracay for their contributions to this regional fair. We are excited to promote Boracay at this event and look forward to welcoming everyone to the island.
